The handle is made from a red 10lb. density foam verses the green 8lb. It features a .020" base plate and for stiffening elements it uses two 3/16" rods on each side and one 1/4" rod in the middle. I spent over a year developing this tool and it’s just what you’d expect for the money. In fact, it’ll probably pay for itself in material and time on the first panel.
